The WIBA Excellence Awards is one of the most prestigious events in which we reward our members for their loyalty as well as nurture their talents, skills etc. We want WIBA membership to grow, but beyond that we would like the corporate sector to offer tangible value for our members such as mentorship programme for the finalists and the winners.
Enabling an environment where the mentors and mentees can be brought together will ensure business landscape is as even as their male counterparts. The mentors can either be the corporate sectors and government. WIBA believes that nurturing the efforts of women entrepreneurs can help them sustain their businesses.
In the long term, WIBA can lobby for corporate social responsibility programmes that compliments the needs of our members from the prospective sponsors. Technical support which most of our members need include authentication of products through international certification, be it areas of safety regulations, quality management systems and others. The categories proposed for these awards are 6. This event is going to be carried out at national scope.
